Captain Bio:

Captain Ray Burdette offers boat, drift, or wade fishing from Rockport and Port Aransas to the Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay. Fishing with artificial lures or bait, Capt. Ray can put you on the fish. With 40 years of coastal bay fishing experience, Capt. Ray can show you the best techniques for catching redfish, speckled trout, and flounder.

Maybe you would like to run up the surf and catch redfish and speckled trout in the breakers. How would you like to make a run into the Gulf of Mexico and catch kingfish, ling, snapper, and sharks? Capt. Ray can take you there. If you’re an experienced angler, Capt. Ray can tailor a trip to improve your skills and sharpen your technique. If you are a beginner, Capt. Ray can teach you the best way to catch some fish for dinner.

What we  Provide:

All rods*, reels*, tackle and bait

El Canelo Charters provides all bait, ice, tackle, and cleans your fish at the end of the day. Bring your clients, buddies, or the whole family, we’ll catch fish. Children are always welcome. All safety and first aid items.

What you need  to bring:

Food and drink, Polarized Sunglasses, Hat, Sunscreen, Clothes appropriate for the weather,  A valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License is required, Wading shoes/boots, PLEASE REFRAIN from wearing dark soled deck shoes
